The market is starting to show a slight increase in closings, which is beginning to take the pressure off the declining demand. Inventory remains 30% up over last year, continuing to put the competition squeeze on sellers.
Rising interest rates are potentially keeping would-be sellers in a holding pattern, waiting for better rates before getting into new mortgages. Prices remain consistent with little to no movement over last month and up 2.5% over LY.
